Zach runs Legal at Gradient Ventures.

In this role, Zach manages all legal and regulatory affairs on behalf of Gradient, including deal execution, fund formation and general operations. Prior to joining Gradient, Zach acted as corporate counsel to Google's hardware division and as lead commercial counsel for Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP), Google's skunkworks team and in-house mobile technology incubator.

Prior to Google, Zach was an associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he represented public and startup companies on investments, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate, governance and disclosure practices.

Zach holds a JD from New York University School of Law and a BA from the University of Oregon.
